It is deciduous shrubs growing to 2-Four m tall. A leaves are opposite, entire, 7-20 cm hanker & Three-7 cm broad. A flowers are produced within late wintertime or even even early spring prior to a leaves, Two-Three cm broad, by owning many spirally-intended yellowness or whiten tepals; they are strongly scented. A fruit is an elliptic dry capsule 3-4 cm hanker.
Chimonanthus praecox is widely grown as an ornamental plant for its scented flowers.
